Bariatric Patients: More Than Just Weight Loss

We’ve worked with clients both pre- and post-bariatric surgery. Some needed to shed pounds to qualify for the procedure, others wanted to tone up afterward to avoid the need for plastic surgery. And let’s not forget—surgery can limit mobility. That’s why strength training is key to recovering well and regaining independence quickly.


Shoulder Mobility: From “Ouch” to “I Got It!”

Whether it’s reaching for a coffee mug or scratching that spot in the middle of your back, shoulder mobility matters more than you think. We’ve helped clients with limited shoulder mobility. The goal? Restore range of motion and reduce pain so you can move freely again.


Strength Training: Because Life Is Heavy

Our clients don’t train for powerlifting meets—they train for real life. Lifting groceries, moving furniture, chasing kids, and doing yard work all take strength. Some also want to reduce their risk of osteoporosis, and lifting heavy (yes, even in your 50s and 60s!) is one of the best ways to build strong bones and muscle.


Aging in Place: Independence Is the Goal

We work with mature clients who are committed to staying active so they can stay in their homes. That means training for balance, coordination, and functional movement. From walking on uneven terrain to getting up from the floor with ease—this is fitness that supports life.

We see it all the time: once clients commit to moving more (just 150 minutes per week!), they start to notice a huge difference in energy levels.
